Screen fittings

I have just returned from my trip to the motogp at Mugello. Unfortunately I never got there and spent 6 days in a Swiss hospital, there were no accidents and the bike is fine.

My R1200 GS never missed a beat, started first time and ran faultlessly. The only problem was that stupid round head nut fell off the screen bolt on the motorway, a good old cable tie made it secure enough for the journey home.

Has anyone found a way to secure the screen to the bike with a set up that does not vibrate loose? and can let me know where I can buy them from?

R pins

I've had the same (Screen issue not colon thanks)

Take out the bolts and drill a 2mm hole through the end, rebuild and insert an R pin in each one. It cannot fall off and is easier to insert.
