I have just bought a 23 R1250GS with a standard screen on.
I would like more protection, on my last GS I fitted a Givi which worked well but needed a brace and wasn't easy to adjust.
I am considering a GSA one.
Anyone done the switch or bought an alternative ?

Many thanks Nick

I've tried a few screens over the last 2 GS's....trial and error
I didn't want a massive screen

Including the MRA vario & Vario X creen, Z Technik, a cheap one from China (Which did work but the quality wasn't there optically and the finish wasn't good)
Went second hand for them all except the Z Technik one and the cheap Chinese one. £22 delivered

Now settled for a GSA clear screen which works great for me nearly all of the time
I did acquire a set of adjustable braces along the way with the big vario x creen which I left on. They reduce the wobble especially with the Puig attached. Once I found the best setting for me, I haven't adjusted them

I also bought the Puig 6320H after seeing one fitted to my mates KTM. He let me borrow it for a ride out. Amazon had them at £43 delivered earlier this year
Put the Puig extension on for the colder wetter weather. It works great at shifting the air and rain over. It hasn't marked the screen. I just set it at a jaunty angle but still at the same eye level as the screen.

What works for one doesn't mean it will work for another
5' 10", I have the BMW 25mm risers on

I am the same as the 2 above. I switched from a standard GS screen to GSA and it's a marked improvement.

The only downside is the lack of airflow during hot weather! But otherwise, it's great for wind/weather protection and a settled riding environment.
