Screens/filters/bulbs etc etc etc

Do you still do those FIAMM horns? I'd be interested to know what model they were.

I have only fitted them to the 1150 ( mainly cos I have an 1150 of my own to play with ) but if you fancy a pair and you have a 1100 or 1200 pop over and we will see whats what :)

Still got the 1150, I'm afraid.

Did you see the thread on here recently about the horn connectors - someone's found the BMW part number, which would save people having to hack the wires about.

By the way - what model were the horns?

Gotta ask .. Hack WHAT wires about ??? The kits I supplied for the 1150 came with all the bits and bobs needed to simply bolt em on and connect them up.. Absolutely no cutting of wires or anything...

Model.. Lord knows.. They are just sold as FIAMM style twin horns :)

Quite possibly Phil, but I do know there are a lot of places cheaper than me on the Avons.
Where I seem to beat folk is on the ride in ride out prices..
PM me the sizes you are after Phil and I will sort out a price for you straight away

The BMW horn connector isn't generally available and I've seen several posts where people don't want to chop the wires off. When I was round at yours, you checked out the horn and spotted that fitting the horn would require the removal of the connector.

It's not a big problem for me as I have the kit to do proper crimps with bullet connectors, but there's been enough interest from others that it might be worth making some looms up with the BMW connector. If you read the link in my post above, you'll find the thread where the connectors were being discussed.

Ahh.. Now you see my bike ( and the four 1150s I have fitted the horns to ) all had simple spade connectors.. Hence the confusion..
I will have to take another gander and see whats what.. Almost all types of connectors are available so I might be able to source some for you chaps :)

Now, still need a twist grip and body if folk want these go faster widgets for the throttles..

Had a couple of price rises come into effect on January the 2nd :(
The bar risers went up a quid to £19.00 ( again though, that includes postage to within the UK ) and the 1150 Vario screens went up a fiver to £90 ( plus post )

I expect the 1100 and 1200 screens to go up too but I still have two of the 1100 version in stock at the old price.

Thanks

Thanks for screen Jaws, arrived and fitted yesterday - definite improvement over standard on way to work this morning!

Currently got 5 1150 Vario screens available and end of next week I will have some more 1100 ones.. both tinted and clear are available

Also just got another batch of 10 bar risers done.. Same price, £19.00 a set inc the stainless bolts and UK shipping :)

Can't praise this guy highly enough... I ordered a Vario on friday (just too late for post) He sent it yesterday... arrived today. And let me pay via paypal... which suited me more than hanging around for days waiting for a cheque to clear.

top man :clap

Cheers Tony.. :)

Ok, just got something new added to the range..

It is for the 1200GS.. A throttle lock.

Had so much trouble finding one ( and when I did find one I was ( in my opinion ) ripped off big time on the postage, I decided to get my cad man on it and see what he could come up with..
To that end we will have a first run of 20 units for £25.00 a go.. about 1/2 the price of anywhere else in the world..

Pics will be forthcoming as soon as I get em ( should be next week at a guess )

the screen works a treat, good prices on the other bits!:thumb2
ta very much g.s.john

Just got hold of another couple of 1150 Vario screens .. still at the same price as before :)
I am gonna try and order some more up .. anyone wanting a 1200 version should let me know so I can add it on ( only handled a couple so do not want to get them in if no one wants them ! )

Hi do you have a link or picture of the MRA Vario on a 1200GS that I could take a look at, prefer the tinted one? I take it the screen is a straight swop?
Cheers Brian

Sorry.. Cannot help qith a picture.. Sold quite a few to members of this 'ere forum though so maybe one of them will be able to help :)

Thanks Jaws, I managed to pick up a used NN tinted high and wide screen from another user which is working quite well for me. Cheers anyway.
