Just an update on what I have done....
Son-in-law ,said (as he's a techno boffin) use his Samsung netbook 10 incher.

Put Sd card in,to through put the video's to 1Tb storage device,take's a matter of minute's.

Using a external 1tb drive to store your videos while touring on a bike is a bit risky one knock and the hard drive and videos are gone.

Used that system last year going down to Split, including going up the Vrsic Pass and 5 miles of rough roads with no problem.

There's nothing spinning inside? well I cant here anything,

Both will be packed in the pannier's amongst the clothing.will
only be taken out at the day's end..
DONT intend serious off roading..(In Morocco)

Will report back if I do though !!!
