because he can - and a single seat looks good on the bike if thats the kind of 'look' you prefer.

i did the conversion to mine and found it much more comfortable. But then everyone has a different opinion, do it if you like it.
Try and find the bits secondhand though, because its FOOKIN expensive new.
I know! i could only find the big bits secondhand - £200 ish
and the little tiny bits cost another £150 from bmw.
Looked good though and its a doddle to swap - about half hour

The Adventure seat is that comfortable TBH, so it just seems a bit of a strange mod. I would have thought you were better going to Tony Archer, or similar and getting the current seat re sculptured
