Hi all

I'm looking to buy a new GSA, but my only concern is my hieght, I am 5,8 and inside leg of 30".
Is there anybody here who has a GSA 1200 of simalar leg to me, and how do you find the seat hieght. I have been told that there are aftermarket seat that are lower, but hoe do these compare to the standard seat on its lowest setting.

Tried the 1200GSA and the 1200GS, short in the leg myself :o went for the 1200GS found it a better fit and could put the seat at the hight I wanted.

The GSA is taller than a GS, and with a low seat on it felt I was inside it.

I have heard the low bm seat for the gsa lowers height by 3". Kahedo do an even lower seat 10-20mm lower than the BMW version. It does alter the riding dynamic, you obviously sit much lower into the bike, you may like or dislike this. Go to a BM dealer and check out the low seat, I did this at Woolaston in Northampton I have a 29" inside leg and could almost get the balls of my feet on the floor.

I am in a similar position to you and am considering the Kahedo seat from TT and lowered Ohlins shocks as not only do they lower the seat height, but the rides better than the standard GSA shocks - the only drawbak is that they cost over a grand for front and rear!

Hope you find the answer you are looking for.
