My seat suits me in the low position as I can get both feet flat on the ground.

However it doesn’t feel natural as it’s sloping slightly forward at the front. I tried it in the normal position and it felt much more comfortable.

I suspect the answer will be no but is there any way to lower the front and rear of the seat so that it’s lower but still horizontal?

You can put the front on the high setting and the rear on low. Alternatively, you might find a low seat works better for you. There's a lot to choose from - BMW, Sargent, Corbin etc...

I have never been able to get comfortable on GS seats. The seat slopes forward and the pegs are set rearward. That results in your hips rotating forward.

You could try the cam (offset) rubbers that are available (was a set on the for sale forum) that raid the front whilst in the low position, or adjust them so they lower in high position.

Or you could get a spare seat and have it reworked to sort out the issue and raise the front padding?

I’ve done the high/low bracket at the front but can you lower the rear of the seat?

I was of the opinion that it was fixed.

Since my first r1200gsa lc I have used a r1200rt front bracket , levels the front of the seat , alt use Cymarc front mounting rubbers

My R1250GS allows the rear of the seat to be set in two alternative (high and low) positions. Not sure what bike you are asking about though...

Read the manual. In my riders manual, Chapter 4 operation, last section p87 front and rear seats.

All of my GS/GSA/RTs have had height adjustable front and rear on the riders seat. RT seats have been the flattest and firmest but GS seats are softer and sloped / curved. My Africa twin and CRF250 Rally have pegs set further forward and that puts the hips / bum in a better position. I guess the boxer engine limits how far forward the pegs can be. In theory the eccentric rubbers you can buy for the front of the riders seat will allow further adjustment up or down. However others have mentioned that as the rubber is moveable on a pivot it spins and ends up in one position which I think is low

You can try other seats, TT extra low is very low, and not so bad comfort, it is more narrow so you get legs down even more, look at bottom of page for height, they say cannot be used with other seats, not true I mixed TT with bmw oem, but had to have pillion on rear most position.
