Hi All, I'm very new so be gentle with me. I am having problems with the riders seat on my 1150, when its replaced into the lowest front guides and the back is clicked down there is a space of about 1 - 1,1/2 inches (sorry but don't get cms). I cant see any way of adjusting it. If I don't click the rear into the bracket, the seat is fine, but has been known to move on the move. There does not seem to be any adjustment. HELP.

If you bought the bike second hand, check if there are distance bloks or shims (if that is the word) fitted under the front guides. Maybe the former owner was much taller than you.

I tried such "bloks/shims" once, and experienced the same gap.

I think I might have a few spacer blocks kicking about here somewhere,if you send me your address,I'll bung them in the post for you.If you put a couple under the rear mounts,it'll tilt the seat forward and close the gap up(probably)if not, chuck them in the bin,and we'll never speak of this matter again

Er... as far as I can see you put the rear in first then slide in the front (oo - err missus). It sounds like you're doing it the other way round (ooo-er-missus x2)

Maybe I've been doing it wrong all these years
