Tobers I would be very interested in the results of your evaluation for the Sedcem - I take it that you can fit it with Tobinators?
I find that on motorways I cannot hide properly from the wind blast even with the Tobinated standard screen on the highest setting - it is one of the few things that irritate me mildly about riding my otherwise lovely bike. I am just under 6' 2" and need the seat on the highest setting for comfort, so a couple of extra inches would be very handy - as the actress said to the bishop.....How much taller is the Sedcem?

Also why the Sedcem as opposed to Cee Bailey?
Cost? Quality? EU vs US?

How much taller is the Sedcem?

It's about 4 inches taller - have a look at the thread mentioned earlier by Wraithwrider - I posted a picture of the Secdem with the stock screen laying over it for comparison

I'll be trying it Tobinated and not Tobinated & will report back on both. Hopefully it will take Tobinators - dont see why not.

Been in contact with MRA. They will have a Vario screen out this summer for the 1200. Dogs do-dars on the 1150 IMHO.

Secdem screen despatched today - arriving shortly from France. €142 if you dont mind! A bit steep. I'm sure they were about €80 a little while ago

just taken delivery of secdem for standard 1150 this morning - £70.00 + VAT from Motobins. Can't imagine materials and manufacturing costs differ that much for the 1200 version?

Like I said, I think they have bounced the price up recently, especially for UK people who are so used to being ripped off.

Anyway, I'll get the VAT back and its down as a research component on the accounts.

understood. suspect that if you've ordered direct from manufacturer they'd be obliged to charge full list price anyway - just to keep their various resellers happy.
