I was contemplating picking up an R1300GS.
I've been fishing around prices and I found I could buy (without too much effort) a 2023 with 20,000 miles for just £11,500. This was from a trader who buys trade ins from dealers - So you can presume this is a PCP swap. And the poor sod who traded his two year old R1300 probably only got £10,000 from the dealer against his new model.
This is a fully loaded top spec version which would have probably cost £25,000 when new.
Even dealers are offering similar bikes with far less miles at around £15,000.
That's a hell of a depreciation on a flagship model.
