I should have paid more attention - I'm not sure what the gearbox arrangement is, maybe its in the back axle .

Excellant post...brought back the memory ( sorry, sorry, sorry ) of when I cut up my R80g/s ( 1000cc RS barrels etc ) and built the trike !!
