I doubt 40C will be warm enough. My heated jacket kit only got up to 37C and it was barely luke warm.

See this thread

I also have a heated waiscoat with rechargeable lithium batteries which is much more effective. See here

Stays warm for over 6 hours and can be recharged overnight. It has a warm fleece liner and the outer fabric appears to be windstopper material. The guys at Hein Gericke were impressed and also those at CW Motorcycles.

Andy, what voltage are the battery packs with this waistcoat?

Hi Whatton,

The battery packs are rated at 3.7v 3000MAH. I know it doesn't sound much but it does work. When I rode back from CW's the other day I put this one on after the disappointment of the heated jacket kit and I was as warm as toast on the way home!

I know the guy who sells them on Ebay will refund you if you're not happy.

Regards,

Andy

My Exo Stormrider vest gets up to 55C which is just right. :D
