Your bro' is head on... :) As I can't really persuade Caz to take her GSX-R offroading, the GS is a bit pointless. And I've now started to feel that it's unfaor riding the GS to work all the time, so I've committed myself to using the our scooter for commuting instead. In fact, I'd love to have a few words with your bro' about the K-series. Could you PM his email address to me?

Happy new year to you guys too! :) :bounce1 :beerjug:

What.......with the way he's thrashed it round 'the Ring' and mono-wheeled everywhere

Sorry to see you have to make the descision, hang around here - always enjoy reading your posts - and ENJOY the new bike when you get it :)

I am shocked by your decision. I really thought that your dedication to your bike would last longer :(

I know what you mean - I'm shocked too.

When I got the bike I was quite set on going on weekend trips riding alonside with my girlfriend. Unfortunately house/time/money has seen to that I've not had much chances to do that. She is still a very young rider and her GSX-R is a swweeeet bike, but they are the limiting factor as the GS can go anywhere the GSX-R can, but not the other way.... I've asked her if she wants to go offroading... :eek

And I've ridden the GS a bit much to have that special sparkle left. I'm sure that if I would have restricted my riding on the GS I would not have come to this conclusion at this point.

... but hey, doesn't mean it's my last GS... :) :D

Thanks Andres... :) :D I'll hang around :)

Dunno if the KR will wheelie better... I think it's longer... :eek

;) ;) ;) ;) :D

Tough decision.

I love my GS. Best all-rounder I've ever had. Fortunately I have a KR also. Would hate to have to decide between the two.

The KR is the best hot rod I've ever had. Better handling than the GS and MUCH more power but it does take more effort to ride and isn't quite as comfy.

The thing, for me, with the KR is always having that power on tap. I'm fairly naughty at times and with the KR it doesn't matter who you run up on you are going to give them one whale of a contest.

They're both great bikes for what they were designed to be.

Good luck with your new ride.

have you checked out www.bmwk1200s.com yet ?

good site for r and s's

Stu

Try www.k-bikes.com as well. Both are terrific sites.

BTW, joker, I have a full Remus Ti and the Evoluzione air filers. This bike ROCKS with those mods. In 2nd gear at 6,000 RPM (about 55 MPH) you can break loose the rear and raise the front wheel at the same time!!! The KR just screams!

Aaah... Haven't seen that site yet - will do now. :D I'm actually thinking of a different exhaust... but that's after my bike has been sold...

Wouldn't blame you if you only got an end-can. The full Remus Ti is EXTREMELY expensive ($2,000). It does however boost the HP by 11 which is increadible. Not to mention the terrific sound. Which one are you thinking of getting?

I've not got that far yet... but I do know that I love the intake sound of it, and I've heard the exhaust note through an aftermarket can... The full titanium system would be cool, but I doubt I'll spend that much money on it... as to which one... time will tell :)
