Hi Folks, Having problems with this system, and about to throw it in the bin!

The system works well in all area's BUT wind noise is terrible, Both mic booms seem hyper sensitive and I can't seem get around it. I've tried many different settings VOX on VOX off etc etc, new firmware, factory reset but it always end up with wind noise. You only have to touch the boom mike to be deafened. Very sensitive.!!!!

Me and the other half are both using Shark evoline helmets as I like to ride with mine in the open position. If we both have the helmets locked shut the wind noise is not too bad.

But having just come back from France and Spain with temps of 37 you don't want to be in a full face helmet, of course the other option is we don't speak, but then no sat nav, no phone, no music.

So now I've told the story my main question is there a solution to the wind noise. Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

Have you got that little plastic thingamybob that clips over the front of your boom mic fitted ? ( I assume you have boom mics with flip up helmets).

Only time wind noise bothers us is with front flipped up and travelling at speed which is my own bloody fault.

Have same setup, Evoline and SMH10.
Solo, I ride chin up music on but vol needs to be up.

As intercom the mic will pick up wind noise over 50ish , enough to crap up anyone listening.
If you hear wind noise it's generally coming not from your own mic but the linked set's mic.

Unavoidability minimise with good on diction foam cover

I always wondered what that little clip on thingamybob was for????????

Yes got the Plastic thingy on plus the foam covers.
Yes boom mic's with flip over helmets (Shark).
