Sena SRL3 won’t work in a group

Just started playing with our new Sena SRL3 comms units, & whilst my wife & I can connect to one another by pressing the centre button, in Bluetooth mode the damn thing refuses to bring our son in on his Sena SMH5.
We’re all bluetoothed to each other & running the latest firmware.
We can call each other on a 1 to 1 chat but we just get “unable to connect, please try later” when trying to add a 3rd person. Tried on the app & it’s exactly the same?
I’ve RTFM several times & it just says press centre button twice.
Am I missing something blindingly obvious?

Thanks for that, found the problem. The SMH5 is a 2 way only unit. Bugger!
Need to try & find a work around now if possible???

Buy something else with mesh connection
