So what’s going on here? The marketing is very clever at presenting the ultimate in communication. And I get the (supposedly seamless) connection of intercom and mobile phone, but what does it work with? Is it just a Mesh feature or can all Bluetooth headsets take advantage of this? It’s not entirely clear from the way it’s being presented!

It appears to work via cellular data, you pair your cardo to your phone, I pair my sena to mine, we both open Wave and we're connected, not sure how much data is used and I'm guessing if there's no phone signal it doesn't work.

Might be useful though.

So you are actually using it and it works with ordinary Bluetooth? No need to have a Mesh headset?

In theory it looks to be very good and I may just give it a go on my Spanish hoon if I can get anyone else to snap into the 21st century and update their firmware etc

I've just seen this and I can see one specific advantage is that you can connect up with your mates when miles apart and be in contact as you try to meet up as we all have that one mate who gets lost/is running late and no one knows where they are.

I can’t get away from the feeling it is too good to be true! Any Bluetooth SENA headset will work with it? I can’t find any technical info on it and it doesn’t actually say it will. If it did, don’t you think they’d be shouting about it from the rooftops?

I hope there's an easy way to have the mic time out otherwise your ears will get a hiding from your mate's helmet noise.

I've found this to be a bit of a problem with the Mesh - maybe we haven't got it set up properly.

I'm taking a student out on the weekend, he uses Cardo, I'll give it a try and will report back. If it works it will be a game changer when taking multiple students out on ERS courses or when RoSPA training.

Tried it at the weekend. Paired it with my cardo on my phone and passenger using a cheap unbranded eBay headset on their phone but couldn’t get the two units to talk to each other so gave up.
