Of to do the Moto Morocco level 2 tour in November this year and wonder what PRACTICAL protection to put on the bike...ie no bling or farkles!

Bigger bash plate?
R&G crash bungs?
all those nice shiny bits to protect the brake/clutch resevoirs?

I think you get the idea

Bike is pretty much standard at the moment other than engine bars and a rear rack

Lets have your thoughts. And if you can tell me the best place to get them from, so much the better.

Cheers in advance

Just being doing this myself as I am looking at entering a few events.

But I have to say some of the stuff is more bling than protection...

1. TTfuel line protection...... bling!
2. TT Potentionmeter cover..... have broken potentionmeter before off road, looked at a few seemed the best made.
3. TT frame protectors...... bit of both bling & protection
4. KTM handguards ..... protection
5. Wunderlich "extreme" sump guard.... cheaper than TT and just as good, I think std sump guard is crap!
6. Wunderlich Fork Protectors.... after all the bad press on HP2 forks thought it was worth a try..... but VERY expensive for what they are. Might have a few set made up if any one is interested?
7. GS ADV cylinder head protectors.... protection, not got engineer bars but have thought about them..... would not get carbon fiber one hard fall and they will break...

just my thought and what I have done. Got the Wunderlich quick release clamps are great to let you adjust bars very quickly and easy.... would also consider head lamp cover if you have not got one....

Cheers
