yep tomorrow 10:30
Am I correct in that this service area is common for both east and west and therefor only one 'communal' area at J2.

Yes - two more peeps who would like to join en-route, but not for the UK leg.
We live in Germany, near Ulm. I saw on an earlier post that you might be taking in the Austrian Alps. Our house is in Biberach an der Riss, this is on the route between the Black Forest and Austria, so it might be convenient to stay for the night before riding down to the Austrian alps. we can provide beds for 5 people.
Both my Wife (Bmw 800) and me (KTM990) know some good routes in the area and would be able to join you (camping) for four or five days between the 21st and 26th
but the original post is a blokes trip, sorry. http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195783I have a chance to join your trip if there is still a place, the opportunity of time off only came up yesterday. I know this is late notice and not sure how you would all feel with me joining at the last moment but it sounds like a great trip. I live in Oxford let me know if your up for it. Richard.
, if that's Ok with you welcome aboard
hello all, still watching the thread with interest. if you don`t mind me saying don`t get too in to who takes what, in my experience if you have the space take what you need to be self sufficient, that way if you do get split up(as was mentioned in 1 of your post) you have the gear to survive be it in europe or elsewhere,if there is extras to make life fun ie music/speakers split it up,hope this dosn`t upset anyone , its not ment to, its also a thought that say 1 cooker is taken and it breaks, doubling up on some things dosn`t matter if you are all one up, it worked for me and a friend awhile back![]()
but anymore people and it will end up being an expedition, doors are now closed
