Service at Bahnstormer

I took my GS12 for its 6,000 service at Bahnstormer.

There hire bikes weren’t in yet when I booked (there not fully open yet), so Paul let me use his new GSA, great fun and a great sounding Akra can !

Got a call say, rear tyre and brakes were worn out, gave me the cost and were authorised to do the work. They had also found an oil leak from the gearbox, they could replace the seals under warranty but would need the bike until the following day.

As it would be Paul’s day off I returned his GSA, and picked up a RT for the night and to get to work for the following day.

Paid the bill, picked up the GS, all nice and clean, shame it was raining !

Service and warranty work completed, well done Bahnstormer.

Once took a bike in for a service at a BMW Dealer CLEAN and it came back DIRTY

Glad to see BAHNSTOMERS not making that mistake

Took the 1200 in for its 600 mile service to as was SPC clean as a whistle where they found the clutch/gearbox seal had gone .. be a week sir. Pick it up after admitedly a few days bad weather but it was dirty as shite where I presume they had to test the gearbox - had some 20 extra miles on it.

It was only because I was still in shell-shock that my hard earnt wonga had already needed a warranty claim that I didn't kick up a fuss at the time. Very pleased to see Bahnstormer have the baton firmly oin their hand this time. My 6000 mile service is just coming up too.
