Finally got around to the annual service. It's a '05 GS that was barely used by it's last owner, and has now done a smidge over 7k.
Three advisories - the fuel pump controller is corroded and could do with replacing (although hasn't actually failed yet); there's a slight but persistent oil leak at the back of the gearbox that Pat couldn't trace, and there is excessive play in the final drive so it needs a new one.
I think I'm going to need a lie down, and then a second job.
Pat mentioned a chap in Northampton who does recon drive units - does anyone have the details please?
