Hi, I am new to the forum in fact I am reasonably new to BMW. My 1200GS is coming up to 24,000 miles and needs a service I live and work in North Cheshire but don’t mind travelling for good service. Does anyone have any recommendations.
Thanks kritou for the link.not sure who you recomend but they are both inpendendents, what about all of the electrial jiggery pokery nonsense? I thought the bike had to go to a dealer to be plugged and have its memory sucked out and read/modified

RGM has the "electrical jiggery pokery" so your upcoming brake bleed and MOT will all be done in house along with the service. Autocom and Ultraseal installations are also available if you want them. The coffee and biscuits are not up to main dealer standards but there is a caff just over the road
I'm happy to recommend Southport Superbikes on the back of my last 2 services there. No hesitation in going back there for my next one. Very good IMO.
Dave.
Thanks for the tip kritou & Mike R. Had my GS serviced at RGM last Friday and what a difference , it runs better than ever. Nice bloke to do business with and I needn’t of worried about the electrical jiggery cos Roy read all the fault codes checked the ABS (even how many times I had used my brakes) all very clever stuff shame most of what I was shown went straight over my head. I did spend more than I expected too but that could have been the Zumo and helmet I bought as well.
One thing I disagree with Kritou, what’s wrong with choc chip cookies and chocolate biscuits ???
