So, I used my phone for navigation the other day, and I didn't really fare that well with it.

I've got a handlebar mount, but I feel it's a bit low, and the screen just isn't bright enough when it's in the waterproof case.

What as the appropriate unit that BMW would suggest for the bike? I gather it's the Nav 4, which is the same as a Zumo 550? I've previously had a Tomtom but I'm not loyal to them for any reason. When I got my bike, I was told there's a power connector for the BMW nav unit hanging below the dash, ready to plug in.

I'll mainly be using it in the UK, but I'd like maps of the continent too I think. Connection-wise, I'll be connecting it to my Android phone (OnePlus One) for music playback, and my Sena SMH-10 to hear the spoken instructions.

Suggestions?

Thanks all!

Anything you like really. If you went for a older unit Zumo 500 & 550 will get you around Europe no problem. You can add the canbus power plug to these units. Slightly newer is the Zumo 660/BMW Nav 4 and then you start moving into the newer units from the over last few years which have seen a change in visual design.

All pretty good and designed for bikes, waterproof, glove friendly, bluetooth ( with exception of the Zumo 500?) I think. Listen to music etc etc

Zumo 500 does Bluetooth just fine
My setup at the mo is Zumo500, iPhone 6 for music and calls, Sena Smh10 to pull it all together
