So, I used my phone for navigation the other day, and I didn't really fare that well with it.
I've got a handlebar mount, but I feel it's a bit low, and the screen just isn't bright enough when it's in the waterproof case.
What as the appropriate unit that BMW would suggest for the bike? I gather it's the Nav 4, which is the same as a Zumo 550? I've previously had a Tomtom but I'm not loyal to them for any reason. When I got my bike, I was told there's a power connector for the BMW nav unit hanging below the dash, ready to plug in.
I'll mainly be using it in the UK, but I'd like maps of the continent too I think. Connection-wise, I'll be connecting it to my Android phone (OnePlus One) for music playback, and my Sena SMH-10 to hear the spoken instructions.
Suggestions?
Thanks all!
