All your advise will do is confuse Johnny W.
His bike is a 2001 model so doesn't have servo brakes which you describe. He can simple bleed his brakes in the normal way.

Thanks for that Steptoe and for the tip about greasing(or not) the splines on the drive shaft. As I said, bleeding brakes is not my favourite pastime so simpler is definitely better from my point of view.
@YYguy....Too late, see my other thread(OOOPS). Already been there and snapped a stud.
