So is it me or is this not playing the game.
Went to my not so local HD dealership today for some service items for my 110 .
Came home and just happened to go on their website.
Here's just one example but every other item was cheaper as well, ie gasket /drain plug set, oil filter, oil filter removal tool.

Synthetic SYN3 20/50 oil

£14.12
Reduced offer price 11.30
I get charged 15.31 x 6 litres ( no gallon containers at 45.00)

I mean I don't mind paying the going rate for anything, and I fully understand they need to make money, but I didn't see and prices up at the dealership and the price I've paid is nothing like what they advertise at.
When I rang they said hmmmm yes sorry we didn't realise it was on offer :blagblah:blagblah:blagblah we will make it up to you next time but not on this occasion. Prices advertised on line are not the same as in the shop ! But kn
It doesn't say that ? its pissed me right off.

So do they wack a grand on every advertised bike price on their site when you get to the show room ?

Strange one this, I noticed in my local HD shop very few items are actually priced on the shelf....well apart from the £75 tee shirts.....

They apologised and said they're going to make it up to you next time.
So you're temporarily £3 down.

Fecking outrageous :D

I can't believe anybody uses a dealer :nenau

Well I try to give them a chance otherwise zero support = zero dealer network. Same with BMW where they are reasonable on prices.
Forking idiots at Chester Harley. Me being a compulsive bike buyer and all...:blast
I don't like sharp practice, much less " what we can get away with pricing" the twats even charged me more than the fecking list price for their oil never mind the 4 quid a litre offer price.

Their loss as I wouldn't buy a key ring off them now.:D

Next time deliver the bike with the correct grade oil and read the bill before paying.

The bike was at home, I purchased the service items over the counter to do the job myself. It was only when I got home and was looking at their website that I looked at their retail prices which were all less than they charged me, and thats regardless of the discount offers.
So the oil SN3 was advertised at 14.31 ie full price less discount brining it in at 11.30 yet the fuckers charged me 15.31 a bottle x 6.
I'd even question the legality never mind the moral correctness.
Short sighted tosser's O's they'll only do it the once.

But you must have known that would be more expensive than a large container.

I asked for a gallon container, the twat said they don't do them anymore!
When I checked on their website they had them listed at 45 quids.
Maybe I should have looked at the prices on the website first, told the guy wht the prices were
and in what quantities they offer their products in.
Seems to me if you don't do that they rip you off.
He offered to discount my next purchase but wouldn't give me any rebate on this purchase even
Though he said it was incorrect ! I mean what the fuck do you do ?
I've even been thinking of getting my lad a sportster but they've well and truly shot themselves in the foot for 35.00 quid.
Enough to piss me off and take my business elsewhere but not enough for them to get rich...... Madness attitude I'd say. :blast

So what's the problem?
£15.31 per litre is silly money by anyone's measure. Take it back for a refund.
