Cant remember if I asked this before but my 2016 GS hasn't had a service for 3 years this year. I haven't done many miles - under 7000 since then. Should it being going in before I ride this season?

I would!
Definitely worth a check-over, new engine oil, and maybe new brake fluid as a minimum...

I would get the dealer to do a diagnostic check too, never know what fault codes could be lurking especially if you plan to do some longer trips or need to rely on it. Some LCs have a habit of throwing off codes if not used.

Did you ever get the fork recall done ?

It's an oil plus filter minimum with maybe brake fluid if required from me :thumby:

Only in the WC section ......

Change the rear brake pads (they come new worn out) and otherwise ride away.
My BMW diesel car calls for an oil change every 18,000 Miles.
I do change the oil and filter in my bike every autumn, and that's about it. Round Europe on it every year.
Only have it 12 years.
Wouldn't want to overdo things.

What season ? It’s been cancelled.

I’m glad I ride all year, as I don’t have the problem of having to re-commission the bikes every spring for the “start of the season”
