Servicing in Duffy's

After been quoted €483 + fitting for an alarm in Duffy's, I reckon I'm definately saving money up north

Have the bike booked into Mototech later in the month. I'll take a spin up.

So next question - any ideas what to do for a few hours while the bike is being serviced? Do they give me a courtesy bike?

If you ask Brian I'm sure he will leave you to the station, quick 10 minutes and your in the centre of Belfast(or a couple of minutes to lisburn):thumb2

Why dont you do the service yourself - Its an 1150 not and 1200, theyre meant to be worked on by ourselves. Theyre half designed for a rider to be able to work on it in some backwater called Huma Huma in Northern Borneo.

Haynes do a great manual that takes you through the various services step by step. The 24k service isnt that difficult - engine oil, gear oil, a few seals, sparks, brake and clutch fluid etc etc - I'm about to do my own once I can find a place to buy the fluids and parts at a reasonable price. (speaking of which does anyone know a good place for fluids, sparks etc....)

There's minimal cost, you dont have the problem of what to do while you wait and you get to know your bike......

WHADDYA THINK??????????????????????????
