servicing query new GSA owner.

! I just bought my first gs and im picking her up in the morning. At the last minute the dealer advised me the service light is on because the last owner had it serviced with BMW up to 24k miles but the last service was not done by BMW and so the dash service light was not reset. Can anyone advise if it can be reset myself ?


Also he mentioned a bmw service can cost 600 quid ! Is that true ?

To reset the service light you need a GS911

If its the same as my '08, it only shows for a few seconds with ignition on so its easy enough to ignore if you don't have access to a GS911.
