Bit confused. Recently bought an 1150 GSA which had 4800 mile on it and just had an annual service. Does this mean the next service will be 6000 later at 10800 or does it need one at 6000. do I have to give it both types of service or does it only have the annual if the mileage isn't covered?

My understanding is as follows. Service due every 6000 miles or once per year, whatever comes first. ie if you only do 3000 miles per year, service done once per year. Otherwise it's every 6000 miles.

There is the BMW Annual Service where the clutch,brake fluids are changed,along with a couple of other actions.
Normally done alongside the 6K service or 12K inspection.
The schedule is in your Service/Technical handbook.
Just another way for BWM to pry your wallet open IMO.
