My much beloved GS need a service an me an my brother cant remember the name of a chap in Wimbledon can anyone help please???


Also has anyone had a problem with getting first gear could it be selector or more serious???

Probably just the lever pivot needing a strip and clean. Click the link to the top right saying gs shop it'll take you straight to him.

I have noticed my 1150 starting to do this lately. Its usually at the start of the days riding. I have cleaned and replaced the felt washers but its made no difference.
I guess I need to work out what Rooster is trying to tell me.

I find if it doesn't want to go into first I keep a bit of pressure on the gear lever and roll bike back or forward a small bit - slips in easy then, no clunk, which pretty much agrees with what littleredrooster says

Not a problem, but sometimes I have to let the clutch out in neutral then try for first again. Sometimes the 'box stops with the dogs lined up in a way that won't go into gear, and giving them a quick spin rearranges things. Dunno if that matches your symptom?
