Does anyone know if early model 1200 rt..... 05 onwards, have
servo brakes,or were they last seen on the 1150:confused:

2005 and 2006 model year RT's had the servo brakes. From 2007 on they were fitted without the servos.

servo brakes

I had an 1150 with servo

when you used the back brake ,it also applied some front
does the early 1200 do the same

I found the set up a bit wierd

Read somewhere on the net (it was the original press release for the GS) the front brake does a bit of the back at the same time but the rear only does the rear to allow for enhanced control.
May not be the same as the RT but I'd lay odds it is, servos were so good that they stopped using them in 2007 IIRC

correct

Read somewhere on the net (it was the original press release for the GS) the front brake does a bit of the back at the same time but the rear only does the rear.
IIRC

This applies to all early (at least) 1200s. The rear brake not operating the front was, unfortunately, deleted because ot rider resistance. On a personal level, I found it the best braking system I have encountered to date, though I haven't ridden recent Hondas to see if they are better, though they are supposed to be.
Myke

If memory serves me correct the rear brake pedal on the 1150RT also operated the front but this was changed on the 1200's so that the rear brake pedal only operated the rear brake. When the servo brake systems was dropped in 2007 the integral brake system fitted still had a fully independent rear brake operation.

Servo

Sold my 1150 rt it was a death trap with the servo, no feed back to the bars, now have a 1200rt without death trap servo thing. If it was any good it would be still on em!
