Servo buddy

Hi , I am going to remove the servo motor for the flappy thing in the exhaust on my 2021 1250 and fit a servo buddy.
What I want to know is will the engine light & warning notice on the TFT be removed or will it require plugging in to a Motoscan type of thing .

Hi. No motoscan/gs911 required.
Just plug in servo buddy as instructions provided and all is good

I think it will disappear on its own. When my original flappy valve was on the way out, it came and went, suggesting that just because it has been recognised as a fault does nto mean it will always be there.

I had my original downpipes replaced under warranty. Now warranty has expired I removed the servo and fitted the Healtech servo buddy before the second one failed.

Fitting the servo buddy today already removed servo & cables .
I did manage to free the flap but didn’t stay free for long before it seized again ,

Hi again , finished fitting the servo buddy,
Engine light still on but it does say in the instructions that some bikes need to go for 3 short rides before the engine light goes away as it’s chucking it down I’ll have to wait “ fingers crossed “

Happy bunny to day , went out on the bike
This morning no engine light or era message on TFT,
