A new GS owner has told me that while waiting at an up hill junction with the foot brake on, the servo brakes release for a split second, then they work again.

I have a feeling that I have seen a thread that confirmed this but cant find it to get the answer .

Is this normal for evo servo abs brakes

don't know whether it's normal but mine does it.

and another.......

I was talking to another GS owner yesterday who has had the same problem on his 2003 model,

Dealer told him to put more pressure on the pedal......apparently a possible programming fault!!

That said, mine's never done it...............yet!!:(

Yes from 2003 it is a standard feature. If the bike is at a standstill & full pressure is applied to the rear brake the servo will stop working, if you release pressure the servo will start working again. It is apparently a power saving programme!!!!!!!!

Straight from the bunker at Bracknell!!!!!!!!!!
