How they hell do I know?

Sorry, I'm new to all this. I know it's not ABS...no switches and a big space under the tank.

It's a 2002 1150, (fast) mandarin colour.

It's got BMW on the brakes....and as some of you might already know, the OE pads were expensive £84...even if they are gold coloured.

So, is there anyway I can tell if they are servo or not...should I know or care?

If it hasn't got ABS then it won't have a Servo either.

You might want to check further though,....I thought the earlier 1150's without ABS had Brembo on the calipers, not BMW

Mine's an 02 ADV 1150 with ABS but NO servo,it has "BMW" on the calipers NOT Brembo,I believe this system is called EVO-but I could be wrong

Very lucky to have the best set up humvee , ABS Evo brakes prior to the god awful servo

daj - you also have excellent brakes - evo / no ABS / no servo - only the earlier brakes calipers were badged "Brembo" & they weren't nearly as good as the later Evo's.

I've had all combinations

Mine has the same brakes.You may have BMW on the caliper,but they are made by brembo. I've had fun & games getting EBC pads as I ordered the wrong ones at 1st as I thought they were the non -evo ones.Despite not having ABS or a servo,they are still known as evo brakes.Confused????????
