Servoectomy realities

Fair enough, but the bike will originally have a build spec from BMW, with ABS and logged against the chassis number

How can you get out of that?

I told my insurance company what I'd done. They were fine with it and there was no change in premium.

Hopefully it is something that a wash has sorted. The warning light was intermittent at first, so could be, or possibly dirt in the motor. Whatever, there has been no rear servo noise for months but is now.
Can anyone confirm that the pump part number is on the right side, and is it on the barcode sticker or engraved on the pump above the sticker?

The rear servo might be triggered by the brake light switches. Check they are working properly.

Thanks BT. Pretty sure the brake light switch was fine, as the light was working. Will check if pump can he refurbished and if not will leave to see if my joy is short lived, and if necessary will book the op at Motoscot.
