Shad Tank bags - Incorrect Capacity

I recently bought a 9 Litre (apparently) semi-rigid tank bag from Shad for my 1250 (Product codes beginning with E09). To make a long story short, I received it and thought to myself, 'that looks.......a bit small. There's no way I'd get 6 bottles of 1.5 thingy Tesco Dandelion & Burdock in that'. When I had a bit more time I looked at the label inside the bag which stated the capacity as 5 Litres. I contacted Shad by 'Online chat' and after a bit of faffery they confirmed that the website was incorrect and that the label inside was right. The bags are 5 Litres, not 9.

Call me old fashioned, but this is quite important to us lot.

And when I think about it, can this be applied to the whole range? Always worth a phone call or 'online chat' to establish the size of your otter's pocket.

Shad aren’t very good with customers anyway. I rang with a query and was told they’d get back to me. No return call for 2 weeks. I called back and was told they had e mailed a reply to me, even though they didn’t have my E mail address.

They weren't great with me either, TBH. However, I am nothing if not persistent and by the end of our 'chat' they had agreed that it could be returned not in the original packaging (They all say this - it's nonsense if you are returning it because of a fault or it being mis-sold). Rather annoyingly, the product I actually want, which is the same but with an expansion zip that makes it 8 litres from 5 is not in stock and not expected to be until after the trip I want it for. I also see that the website has not been corrected yet regarding the true capacity of these tank bags.
 
Update - Shad have now refunded me the value of the bag, my original and return postage and given me 10% discount on the new (e.g. no stock yet) expandable bag that is the same as my previous one but expands to 8 litres from 5. I can't complain.
