Question for you guys - What going on with the bike, when you're braking reasonably hard, and down shifting a gear at the same time . . . and you can feel the rear pedal 'pulsing' ?
Never had a shft drive before - so i was wondering whats going on when this happens

could be ABS Activity

"pulsing"

You may find that if it's a gs if you change down quickly ay speed the back end go's light and the wheel locks for a moment used to happen on a wet roadm on my 1150 whilst pushing on a bit!. Whilst on a BMW ride out at Garmish in 2005 around the alps with a few lunatics had acouple of these
really good slids they thought I was mad I just shit myself! but all ok just didient change down so quick in future!,

Probably the ABS. It doesn't take much to kick it in on the rear - well on mine anyway. They're linked brakes so when you use the front the rear comes on as well. I think its an 80/20 split. If you then use the rear brake as well it can casue the ABS to work even in the dry.
