Would very much like to know what they are?

Great bikes .... mines a keeper for sure :thumb

Full BMW Akropovic Titanium sports exhaust system
Blue Line washable/re oilable air filter
Air box intake opened out
Wunderlich screen
Barkbuster hand guards
Oxford heated grips
Adjustable levers
Recovered seat with gel pad
Special Garmin Quest mount as part of the instrument cluster
LED running light
Wunderlich front mudguard fender extenda
BMW engine bars
BMW Xchallenge alloy sump guard (powder coated black)
Wunderlich tank bag
12 volt aux socket fitted to near side panel in front of knee ... heated jacket :D
Peli case
Hepco & Becker pannier frames being fitted

That's about it. Was just about to say it goes like shit off a shovel but some bright spark will pop up and say that it doesn't go at all

Ignition switch looks like it's kaput, haven't had a chance to get on the case yet ;)

Hepco&Becker pannier frames and rear rack.
Aluminium sump guard sprayed black
Wunderlich front mud guard extender
Wunderlich tall screen
Wunderlich adjustable clutch and brake levers
Touratech tail pack
Touratech hand guards
Touratech bendy gear shift lever
Ram mount for Garmin quest.

That's about it, and apart from a bit of work on the saddle I am happy with the bike for now, the only thing it really needs is a talented rider.

Very nice indeed, Micky. Lot's to do then... ;)

Some luvverly farkles there.. ;) :drool

I was in two minds about selling it last year.. but think mine will be a keeper. It's such a nice wee thing.

I do now have a tank bag and a tail pack.

Have also fitted some straps for my BMW soft bag.

Question: Anyone got the tail BMW pack? Is there some sort of mount kit for it? Don't have any documents for it and it doesn't seem to go on simply...

OK so we're off with the 2013 farkle programme.

What to do next? Screen? Hmmm...
Oxford Hot grips seem cheap-ish.
Anyone recommend a supplier for Barkbusters?

Here you see two straps Sir ...

fastened round the square subframe under the sea. When not in use they fold under the seat out of sight. When required the seat is removed and the chosen strap pulled out to be taken in to use :thumb

One strap has a loop 'S' showing so that a bungee may be attached for a roll bag or the likes :D

T'other strap that just goes out of sight has the plastic buckle for snapping into..... the BMW tail pack mounting :thumb

Sooooo simple ... and works :thumb

Just got one of these before Xmas and look forward to making it more my own, once I've replaced the warped front disk. I want to lower it and have ordered a lower collar for the rear shock, and with advice from here will only lower the forks a little. Have a Loobman chain oiler to be fitted, I used one of these on my F650GS a few years ago.
The engine oil is quite black and feels a bit gritty so a service is also in order.

Micky, am interested in your Hilltop experience. I had my 1200GS remapped by Hilltop and had not realised he did xCountrys too. I paid £300+ for the 1200, was the cost similar for the xC? Looks like it gives significant boost and a smoother delivery, like with the 1200.

Great to have a naked bike that needs farkling, not much left to do on the 1200...

Hilltop will do most fuel injected bikes :thumb
Made a BIG difference to the 650 :D
We had a deal whereby four of us went down in a day so we made a saving ... best be ringing Geoff for a price then eh ;)

Was your £300+ for the 1200 worth it?

Here's one of my X Country.

P1070046.jpg

In the pic, it's got Barkbuster guards, a Mikeyboy aluminium rack, BMW tailback (from my K1200S) Oxford heated grips & a 12v accessory socket.

I've since fitted BMW crash bars & a Scheffelmeier ally bash plate. It's not far off ready to take offloading now, but by the look of it, one or two more hardparts wouldn't go amiss - that chain guide looks interesting

Micky, we did a similar thing with the 1200s. We took 3 of them up to Hilltop and had them all done at once. The increases were typically, 20%+ BHP and approx 30% torque at the rear wheel for the 3 bikes. It will be interesting to see how a standard 2013 watercooled 1200GS will compare to a Hilltop remapped 2010 bike. The 2010 bike was giving over 100BHP at the rear wheel. So yes, it was worth it. There is a long thread on the 1200 section with positive stories.
