While my son was helping his mom and uncle clear his deceased grandads bungalow he found this in one of the sheds.

Anyone know anything about it? :nenau The air pistol is in Norfolk unfortunately so nowhere near me. All the info I have is in the pictures. He reckons it “ works “ but the lever for compressing the spring is missing. Are they available? Is it worth renovating it or just skip it?

Old Webley air pistols do have some value, but the condition of that one is too far gone I believe. That is an early model (pre WWII) as later ones the trigger guard was next to the grip. Have a look on Guntrader for current values and condition, then list it for parts only at £100.

I've got the later model Webley Junior .177 in the drawer somewhere, dating from around 1947. It's in immaculate condition & still shoots straight, but not very powerful, if that matters with old air pistols in reality. It's a shame yours hasn't been stored more carefully; it looks a bit far gone TBH.

I have one similar, a Webley Junior .177 single shot air pistol my father got not sure from ww2 or later off some scrote, he nicked. Still works however as mentioned not very powerful, Would happily sell it if interested, as never going to be used by myself.
