Shell V Power

I've been using this new Shell V Power 99 octane unleaded fuel in my 1200 and I'm convinced the engine is running smoother!

At tick over the screen now vibrates far less and it picks up well in the higher gears and just feels, well.....velvety and silky smooth.

Can't say that performance has increased but definately smoother!

Anyone else given it a go and had any experiences to report?

I 've used Super unleaded, Bp Ultimate and Shell Optimax before and never felt any difference but this stuff just seems different.

And this would coincide with the bike being at around 12-15k miles would it??

Put it in my 1150 Adventure at the weekend. Defo runs smoother and seems quicker on the uptake

Negative! Just completed 4000 miles and its running beter than ever!

Yeah - I'll go with that. Been using it in mine for a while now and I'm convinced that it gives a slightly greater tank-range, too. And I get double Plus-points!
