My daughter did similar in '06, we went to see the place in Delhi and then had a break in Kerala. As you say, made an impression. It takes guts to face it, and it teaches them a lot.

Your so right, SWSBO and me think it will be the making of her, she's looking to go back in a year or two. She told us that ever day she went out to look around all she could do was hand out money to the kids for food.
