Hi I have a Shoei helmet that, due to weight loss, is now too big for me. Is there anyway to get the liner replaced to make it tighter? Only a year old so I don't want to replace it unless I really have to.

Some helmets you can change the cheek pads but if the whole fit has loosend I would seriously consider changing it. Put the lid up here for sale at a realistic price and buy a new one. JJH

Wouldn't normally sell a helmet 2nd hand but this one is probably the best iv'e had including a Schuberth so may have to.

Surely your head's not shrunk with weight loss ? I'd have thought it would just be a bit from the cheeks... in which case replacement cheek pads would solve the issue ....

Yep - I quite often 'revitalise' an oldish lid by buying new cheek pads. There are two or three different sizes (thickness) so yes .... you can make that fit a bit snugger .... :thumb2

I had a similar problem with my Neotec, Shoei make a larger insert / liner which just tightens your headband a smidge e mail the importers they were very helpful

I lost 6 stone ! Its amazing the places blubber hides !! Will try new cheek pads as I like the helmet.

I've just learnt that my XXL Shoei Neotec has the same shell as the XL size, just the internal padding that's different. Maybe you can get a different sized padding for yours?
