The Multitec is a popular helmet with good reason.

The standard Pinlock visor insert is great on an upright bike. I have noticed though that on a sports bike - where the head and neck are more craned up - the upper lip on on the insert can fall across my eyeline, leaving me tipping my head up and down to see properly.

I have found that the excellent Shoei Pinlock 'Extra High Version' designed for racing helmets works very well, moving the ridge line much higher up the visor.

Buy and use with confidence, with or without a sports bike.

Excellent. I'll look out for that. Ta. I was at BSB at Oulton Park a couple of years ago and the Shoei guy sorted out a problem with my helmet. He also cut a new pair of "slots" in my pinlock insert so it sat higher on the visor (he just used scissors). Have been tempted to try same on current Multitec as it would be better for me even on "upright" GS.

Perhaps there's only me interested! Bought one of these and I agree it's a good thing whether on a sports bike or not. The insert not only sits a little higher, it's bigger, too, and gives a lot clearer view.
