Can’t you just squeeze it in as a 3rd bike ? It looks like a keeper to me

Negotiations ongoing - its more to do with garage space than money. Be lucky to get 2750 euro for it.

This was a few miles back in Riano

Looks like you timed your trip well, weather-wise. And that you are taking advantage of the local gastronomy

After all that food in Hotel del Oso just a light lunch .

I would be very glad later.

After stopping to take this next photo I made a silly error.
When doing a U turn (I know) a briefly put my leg down for balance, forgetting about the panniers. Felt a heavy jolt to my foot but toes and everything was still working. Could have been nasty.

As I changed up through gears I heard a thud. Yes the pannier had come loose with contact and was in middle of road. Luckily no traffic at the time. PHEW .

Great little report Deise. Enjoyed that a lot.....recognise some of the places and can't wait to go again. Cheers moosh 👏👍

Atrocious forecast for crossing home and that was proved to be correct. Glad I only had light lunch.

Last time I had travelled solo by bike (France/Spain) was 2011 on a GS1200.
The K75 did not feel in the least bit inferior.

I regarded this jaunt as a slight test after some health issues.
I could have done some things differently but no regrets. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Looking back at these photos it might seem to be cloudy most of the time but that is not how I remember it.

And oh those empty roads.

I was reminded how helpful most people are.

Respect to all you who take the time and effort to produce excellent trip reports.
As I said at the start I never done one before and was very naive to begin one.

Like some journeys once you start you just carry on.

The K75S is not an inferior motorcycle at all .... there are no inferior motorcycles, only motorcycles :thumb

And definitely no inferior food on this trip! :drool Great report. Thanks for posting!
