Short term/ single trip bike insurance

I'm looking at buying a bike for a specific trip to Europe which will be sold on my return so wondered if there was such a thing as short term single trip cover as opposed to buying an annual policy and then cancelling on return.

Any info or suggestions gratefully appreciated.

I can't see short term insurance being 'cheap' or good value, compared to the annual premium. Whilst you'll get hit with the usual admin charge, you'll probably come out better off (at a guess).
