I've tried the tobinators but they only make a marginal improvement for me and they make the screen difficult to move and in some positions the bars/handgards hit the screen so it's less than ideal. Today I took the screen off and cured the buffeting, so I'm now thinking of getting a little screen/cockpit cover from Nippies but am not sure how I'll find the wind blast on a long fast ride, anyone tried anything similar? If so, what's it like after riding at 90-100 all day? I figure the buffeting and noise is more tiring than the wind blast with no screen but it's something that needs a lot of miles to decide so any one with any experience that can advise me?

No screen = no buffeting.
There is nothing better!

Starting from Spring I change my screen to a self made half size screen. This keeps the torso out of the wind, en the head in clean air. Especialy for long rides that is great.
What I did was simply cut off the top half of the screen (and back painted it black).
I found it somewere here btw. So try the search function.

Here is a picky;

Just a plain figure saw did the job! And if I would do it again, I would cut off even a bit more. (I am 1m78 and have the standard seat in the high position.)
