just been injected with a head full of impression at the NEC by Mr Ultimate.

Fondled the squidgy one, rubbed the hard one for a bit and then went back to wondering about the squidgy one. Got confused and fell back upon the usual (Mrs Boundless says) and ordered the most expensive...squidgy.

It's a moronic subject to have a poll on; but anyone out there with regrets or experience one way or the other?

I've got a hard on e , oops i missed the key, i mean hard ones ,

not ultimate ear but green leopard, think i would prefer the squidgy type, when wearing the plugs for 4 + hours i feel i could do with something a bit softer .

can they fit the earphones into the squidgy type ?

Bought a pair each for the g/f & myself, both of us went for the squidgy option, thinking is that it may be more comfortable?

Should arrive in 2-3 weeks hopefully.

agree with steptoe.

i got a set of hard ones made by someone else & would definitely go for softer next time.

i went for

squidgy, but likewise they will be a couple of weeks before I can get them.

Steptoe, they do a set with headphones in, they are called monitors i believe.

I had the half shell hard blocker and it kept falling out.

I now have the full shell squidgy.

You ear canal isn't hard, it's soft and flexible, so I would suggest soft. The hard ones may not seal as well and could get uncomfortable after a while

I have both - in fact I have nearly all of them and my fave by far are the full shell squidgy. Went out the other day without them and had to resort to my half shells blocker, yes they work but when you've had silk even finest italian cotton will not do anymore :D

Nice website by the way :thumb

Bought a pair of the ultimate hard ones recently. First impressions .. Should have saved my money. they are no better than the disposable ones I get for free from work.
Thats when they stay in place. I find when I talk they dislodge.

This is my opinion, I know some people swear by them. Could have found a better use for the £45 I spent on them.

If not Happy

Speak to Dave Marshall, I'm sure he will sort them out for you.

Gary.

He's looked after me.

I had the same problem and Dave sorted me out with full shell squidgies. So do contact him, let him know the problem and give him an opportunity to sort it.

As the others have said, get in touch and get it sorted they no more want you as a dissatisfied customer as you want to feel you've wasted your money. Even if it means new impressions or new plugs they will sort it.

I don't think there were too many options when I bought mine from the NEC 6 years ago. They're the hard one's in Flouresent yellow which comes in very handy when they fall onto the ground, considering how old they are now, they still look and fit like new :D !

Amazing bit of kit and I wouldn't be able to ride with my otherwise excellent but noisey Schuberth Concept without them :thumb.

Expensive at first but they do become E.V.F.M. !
