Show us your GS/GSA LC

Well. After nearly three years of trying to destroy my 14 plate GSA I have decided to pick on a new victim. :D

Quick shifter and keyless are the only new additions to my original bike and are both pretty good. The gearbox is definitely a big improvement on my old bikes as well.

Nothing else to report... as yet! :thumb2

Oh and got a Nav 6 with it as well. :bounce1

So you got all the cement off the old one then?:augie:D

Coming from a Nav 4 I'm currently feeling rather overwhelmed looking at the Nav 6. :D

It is a much better unit than Nav V let alone IV :D a few bugs yet to iron out, but......

Had a crack at a couple of lanes today for the first time, having picked up the bike in December. All this time I was thinking it hid the weight so well, I guess there are limits! Still, got out in one piece and didn’t beach it, so can’t complain.

My Rallye with the Varios fitted (and then removed again). I really wanted the knarly aluminum jobbies but when priced up with the frames and locks it was about £1,000! Can't justify that for a couple of trips per year........

I don't think it looks too bad. Might look at some vinyl color in the future to link to the Rallye colours. Then again....... I might not.

You can alway buy my Givi panniers and top box, and then buy pannier frames (very good price £60) from another chap on here all in around £700 which is great price considering this set up would set you back over £1300 new.

My boxes will go straight on your bike, just need those frames for the panniers.

very nice of you to offer. Never miss a marketing opportunity eh! Thanks but I am happy enough with the Varios. I had them on my TC too. Saving up for a Nav V at the moment.

What luggage are you getting, Ev?

Definitely! I felt like I could get away with quite a bit on the F800GS with just Trail Attack 2s fitted, but the 1200 really feels like it’d be a liability on these tyres as soon as it gets at all wet. Might try TKC70s next time.

I wasn’t sure if it’d look as good in the real world as in the press shots, but the Rallye does look great. If I’d been buying a year later I’d probably have gone for one over the GSA, though admittedly the ridiculous tank range is very nice to have.
