I've got to turn my GSA in a confined space so I pivot it on its side stand swing it 180°. So far so good.

The mind boggles - just stick ones leg through the gap, safe and secure and easy - no stress to side stands, no danger of kicking top boxes panniers etc, how hard can it be?

The only time this does not work is if you are a knackered old twat - if you are then you shouldnt be riding a motorcycle the size of a GS.

Depends how heavy you are! If you're normal weight, it'll be fine, I wouldn't try it if you're 20 stone!

You'd have to be about 6'5" to do that on a GSA though!

That's how it's done.............. but can be traumatic for an unfit person with a 29" inseam!!!
