Just had mine detailed, ceramic coated and ACF50ed for winter. Shame to use it but they are made for riding.
My previous 1200FT, should have kept it

There’s a worryingly large collection of nuts and bolts in that tray for a service!

No way much damage ?Yeah no bother since the new selonoid was fitted. But the Chief got rear ended at a roundabout on the way back from the Farmyard
Let’s just say the bike was saved by its fishtails which extend beyond the length of the rear. They are scratched but the damage will fill with some chemical metal and they are Matt black so will blow them over with a rattle can. But they are attached to a very sturdy sub frame and therefore inflicted maximum damage to the “bike” that hit me. They punched straight through his lower fairing, my luggage strapped to the back then softened the blow but broke the mirror off his fairing.
Some scuffing to my leather panniers, but not overly bothered, let’s call it patina.
The guy then came off damaging a few panels too. So he came off worse, but to be fair I probably saved his life, if he had sailed on to the roundabout at the pace he was going he would have been T Bonned by the car I had stopped for.
The perp was my mate and traveling companion so just glad he is ok and he’ll see me right ref damage if anything major shows up.
More worryingly; my bike is blocking a lane, hazards on, other bike lying in the road behind me, rider is also down, this is a major junction off the A1 and no one stopped, cars just drove around him as he lay in the road, we were just an inconvenience to them.
I get the not stopping to help but I thought someone would have at least stopped to record it on their phone
as is the modern way.People really don’t a flying f*** for their fellow humans.
